Vintage Bernina 117-k Professional Zig Zag Sewing Machine

A Bernina 117-k Professional Sewing Machine. Made in Switzerland, Serial number: 389886. This model was produced from 1938 to 1941 and was Bernina's first zig zag machine. Forward, reverse & dropped feed dogs which makes her capable of free machine embroidery/darning.

Needle positioning (Center, Left, Right). She produces extraordinary Satin Stitch thanks to her Swiss precision mechanics. Free Motion / Darning mode! A very rare system allowing the foot to hop up/down. No need for special attachment. Comes with one metal bobbin case. An extremely well preserved BERNINA KL 117-K which has been in for a tune up on 9/22/2018. And used slightly since then. There is a picture provided with a copy of the receipt.

The rubber wheel to wind a bobbin needs to be replaced. SEE PICS FOR CONDITION & DESCRIPTION.
