Singer 29K-62 Long Arm Sewing Machine Cobbler / Leather / Patcher- Must See

Singer 29K-62 Long Arm Sewing Machine (Great Britain - 1938). These were extensively used by Boot, Shoe Repair, Harness and Canvas shops. The sewing head actually rotates 360 degree's & with the long cylinder arm you can sew in a small confined area.

They are still widely used today. The machine & Stand have been cleaned, repaired and serviced & painted. It also has new decals front & back as well as clear coat on the finish. A new drawer was remade from an old treadle machine and resized to fit the old stand. The sewing head and the timing assembly have been removed / disassembled / cleaned / polished / lubricated. Anything broken or excessively worn has been replaced.

The machine is in excellent condition and in sewing condition. Samples on leather and canvas are here for you inspection. With routine normal maintenance this machine should last you a long time. This 29K-62 model actually has (2) different drives shafts you can sew with.

If you place the wheel on the right front shaft you can use the new treadle belt and sew with the pedal on the stand. If you move the wheel to the front of the machine you can turn the wooden handle and sew by hand for fine intricate work.
