Singer 29K71 Sewing Machine / Cobbler / Patcher / Leather Sews Well

Singer 29K71 Sewing Machine - SN:ES741592 - (May 31,1961) - Great Britain. These were extensively used by Boot, Shoe Repair, Harness and Canvas shops.

The sewing head actually rotates 360 degree's & with the long cylinder arm you can sew in a small confined area. Machine has gone thru an extensive restoration on both the sewing machine & stand. Sewing Machine had new Singer decals installed and both front & rear of machine and stand was disassembled & painted. Clear coat was then applied for a durable hard finish on front & rear of sewing machine. The head was removed and disassembled for inspection, cleaned, rust removed and lubricated. The timing gear arm was removed and cleaned. Inspected & gears were lubricated.

All roller bearings on machine are working freely and lubricated. During it's renovation anything broken, welded or worn out has been changed. With the poor quality aftermarket parts out there you are better off with good used original Singer parts. This machine did not need any new roller bearings.

If a part is not good enough for my machine it's not going in your machine. I do my best to give you a good working machine that should last you for many years without problems if you do normal routine maintenance. Please inspect the (2) sewing stitch samples on both leather and heavy boat canvas. All 10 pictures will come up. Please examine all pictures closely as they are an intricate part of the description.
