SINGER 29K62 INDUSTRIAL CYLINDER LONG ARM SEWING MACHINE, LEATHER PATCHER

Serial number EC964233, born October 30th, 1940. This is the long arm version of the Singer 29-4 patcher machine with an 18 arm, capable of reaching tighter places than it's smaller counterpart. This line of machines was originally designed for cobblers: shoe & boot repair, with the cylinder arm long and slender enough to fit in tight places. It also has a presser foot that rotates in a complete 360 degree circle, which is one of the reasons it's also highly sought after for sewing leather patches on motorcycle jackets, vests, etc. It's also a great machine for harness work and leather craft wallets, belts, etc.

Machine has been lightly cleaned, oiled and tested on multiple layers of different types of tanned leather (see photos), and sews beautifully. Machine comes complete with: head, base, original drawer, 2 spare bobbins, threader, three needles, four pre-wound bobbins, misc. Tools (punch, cleaning brush and screw driver) and two copies of the 29K62 manual. Please look at all photos closely as they are an important part of the item description.
