Singer 175-62 Tacking INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE

Singer 175-62 Industrial Tacking Machine. Complete with table stand and 110 volt motor, and several packages of needles.

Been used in a drapery workroom to tack pinch pleats. The needle moves from side to side 1/8 of an inch - I have posted pictures of how the pinch pleat is situated to do the tack. It goes thru many layers of fabric - this particular one in the picture is 12 layers of the face fabric and 6 layers of crinoline/buckram. If you are making a lot of pinch pleated draperies, this is a must.
