This is a model 7-34 Singer industrial sewing machine that works very well for a great number of different types of materials. With the long needle stroke, you can sew leather and other materials over an inch in thickness. It runs very well and quietly. The stiches can be adjusted from about 3/32 to 9/16.
Servo motor for the drive that makes it easy to control stitches in the corners. By changing settings, the motor can run much faster. Up to 600 stiches per minute. She and I both like the large smooth table that keeps things from sliding off. The table measures 34x 60. She has sewn hems on coats and I do a little auto upholstery. The machine comes with extra bobbins, an extra shuttle hook and a lot of different needles. The serial number is AG417885 and was built in 1942 for the government for tent repair and such. This machine has been taken good care of when not being used.It is in our air conditioned and heated shop. If you are looking at this one , you probably have looked at others and see that many have been abused and the original table lost. Some people find just the head and cobble it to another table that is too small making it hard to use. I do not have an extra chair to sell with the machine but I always used my leather secretary chair as it has casters and moves around easily.
