Vintage Heavy Duty Industrial Black SINGER 301 Sewing Machine Works Looks Great! This listing is for a Singer 301 sewing machine. Lightweight at about 16 pounds. Motor is internal with no belt to adjust or replace. Feed dogs can be lowered for "free-hand" work such as embroidery and monogramming.
This is the black with gold design which is in great condition for its' age. There are some light scratches on the bed and may be some loss of the clear coating. Small amount of wear / loss of gold color design.
The only "accessory" is a bobbin which is in the bobbin case. This is a strong-running sewing machine. Runs smoothly, quietly, and powerfully.I tested the bobbin winder which works great. Tested forward and backward stitches at various lengths on single and multiple layers of denim. And across folded denim pocket (LEVIS jeans so not thin denim). The original black Bakelite foot pedal works great, keeping the machine steady at any speed. From slow to VERY fast. However, there is electrical tape at each end of the cord and cord is. Works fine, but the cord should be replaced for safety reasons. Same with the power cord. I have not cleaned or oiled this machine. Please see photos and contact me with any questions.
