SINGER 29-4 INDUSTRIAL CYLINDER SEWING MACHINE THIS SINGER SN # L1108883 : BORN ON NOVEMBER 4,1901 - THESE WERE USED EXTENSIVELY ALL OVER THE WORLD FOR BOOT, SHOE REPAIR , AS WELL AS HARNESS & CANVAS SHOPS - THE SEWING HEAD ACTUALLY ROTATES 360 DEGREE'S AND COULD BE USED ANYWHERE. MAJOR RESTORATION DONE ON THIS ONE - DE-GREASED, SANDED AND PRIMERED THEN PAINTED WITH APPLIANCE EPOXY & DECALS AND CLEAR COAT APPLIED - THE MAIN HEAD WAS REMOVED & DISASSEMBLED AND CLEANED. ANY BROKE PARTS WERE THEN REPLACED IF NEEDED. METAL WAS POLISHED AND LUBRICATED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER & RE-INSTALLED.

TIMING WAS CHECKED AND GEARS WERE LUBRICATED. SAMPLE WERE MADE USING # 18 LEATHER NEEDLES AND USING V 69 (DABOND) THREAD - BASE STAND WAS ALSO DEGREASED & PAINTED WITH EPOXY AND CLEAR COAT WAS APPLIED TO THE "TOP" FOR A HARD FINISH. THE GOLD LEAF PAINT WAS APPLIED TO SINGER LOGOS ON FRONT & BOTH SIDES. THE WOODEN DRAWER WAS REPAIRED & RESTAINED & CLEAR COATED. THE MACHINE HAS A NEW TREADLE BELT THAT IS INSTALLED.
